We aim to develop a research and innovation eco-system that can inform policy on key development issues along with promoting open dialogue and inquiry.

What we do

Civic Face Pakistan is a social enterprise based out of Islamabad that works for improving research and analysis, convening policy debates, and finding innovative solutions to the pressing development related issues. At Civic Face Pakistan, teams of competent researchers and policy practitioners work on various themes using rigorous research techniques, evidence-based advocacy, and training. Civic Face Pakistan works at multiple levels from community to the government to assist people, and organizations to find creative ways to improve governance and accountability.

Working Paper Series

Working paper series is an initiative to produce authentic research on themes relevant to economic and social development. In this regard, we have collaborated with leading researchers and academicians who have hands-on experience in conducting research studies on various social sciences themes. Currently, our research is focused on the implications of COVID 19 on various development indicators such as health and education and the role of civil society in the development and better governance.

Enriched with diverse research expertise, our research team brings national and international research experience to the table. Our team has a mix of researchers with experience of using qualitative and qualitative data tools for data collection, and analysis. Our creative team specializes in content development for dissemination on traditional media as well as various social media platforms. Because content can take many forms – blog post, video, eBook, Tweet, infographic, advertisement, to name a few – the content creation process is nuanced and not always as simple as it might seem. Our content creators have worked at leading organizations worldwide and created content for nationwide campaigns, digital forums, and INGOs.

We specialize in designing, implementing, and facilitating evidence-based advocacy on diverse issues that impact human wellbeing and prosperity. Advocacy team works in collaboration with research and content creation teams for designing and running advocacy campaigns on various topics related to social sciences.

We have experience in conducting training sessions on development-related skills such as social action, branding, communication, pedagogy, digital literacy, teaching, and advocacy. We have trained community organizations, public sector employees, and youth across Pakistan.

At Civic Face, we believe that digital spaces are one of the most impactful ways of communicating with a diverse audience. It reduces costs, and saves time and are more accessible. Therefore, we have professional digital strategists who have developed digital media strategies of leading national and international organizations on themes related to social and economic development.

We develop project-specific key performing indicators and analytical frameworks to monitor and evaluate development projects, campaigns, and initiatives. We develop survey questionnaires, interview guides, and other resources for monitoring and evaluation.

We work in collaboration with national and international think tanks, leading policy institutes, development sector organizations, and academic institutions.

Civic Face Fellows Program

Civic Face Fellows Program

is a training and development program that is run in collaboration with partners from the development sector, academia and politics to prepare young leaders who can create an impact through social action and advocacy. Civic Face fellows are trained by leading social activists, academicians and policy practitioners on various topics such as leadership, branding, public speaking, conflict management and impact. CFFP regularly organizes training workshops, seminars, and study circles for young people.
